Geshe-la holds the highest scholarly degree in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He currently serves as the director overseeing the largest repository of Vajrayana scriptures in Ladakh, India. In the near future, many of these rare tantric texts will be brought to the Giao Long Buddhist University in the United States.
