How to Apply

The application process at Giao Long Monastery & Institute is designed as a mindful entry into a Tibetan Buddhist learning environment. Each step reflects the values of clarity, intention, and sincere commitment—qualities that guide all GLM programs.

  • Previous meditation or Buddhist studies experience (if any)
  • A Statement of Intention describing why the applicant wishes to study at GLM and how the program aligns with their long-term goals

  • Readiness to join GLM’s unique living–learning community

The tone is supportive and reflective, consistent with Tibetan Buddhist hospitality.
